I only read one other book in this Lowcountry series and I think that the books pretty much stand alone, although you might miss the character connections. I liked this installment and it was great to get caught up. It was originally supposed to be a trilogy and this is book four and I believe there will be at least one more.
Due to family commitments, I have been unable to read this book. I thank you for the provision of it, and if I get to it in the future, I will make sure to leave public reviews on Goodreads and my personal blog. Again, apologies and thanks.
Thank you to Net Galley and Gallery/Threshold/Pocket Books for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Another enjoyable book in the Lowcountry Summer series. It was nice to be back with all the characters in the Muir family. This book focuses on the preparations for the weddings of both Harper and Carson and introduces a new half sibling into the Muir clan. There is all the requisite family drama while each of the sisters are evaluating their relationships and plans for the future.
As with all of Mary Alice Monroe's books, the setting is lush and scenic and the story is focused of the bond of the sisters and their grandmother. Will each sister find their happily ever after? How will their new half sibling fit into the family?
If there aren't any other books in this series, this seemed like a fitting ending. Although I'd be happy to read another one.
