This book had a slow pace in my opinion and took me quite a bit of time to get into and actively invest in the characters. I am a fan of sci-fi based material but there wasn't much about this book that stuck out to me as anything original or that did not seem to fit into the general mold of what you might expect from a kind of YA/space set book.
