This was an okay read. There were moments in the novel that I thought were quite drawn out, and other moments that were glossed over rather quickly. With that being said, I did enjoy the concept of the novel, and will still read books from this author in the future.
This has got to be the most passive MC I've ever heard of. Plus only one or two have nicknames, what kind of MC is that? Vincent was so blah, and Tina was sexy and had a smart mouth. I had to force myself to finish.
Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
Having not read the first Sons of Odin book, I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow along as easily, but that was not the case. I quickly got caught up on Tina and Vincent and understood their attraction and why Vincent was holding her at arms length. When they finally came together though, it was fireworks. They fell hard and it was great seeing that happen while they were both dealing with so much. In Vincent's case, it was taking care of the MC while the rest of the leadership board were away. In Tina's case, it was dealing with an aggressive former client.
I really enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to getting to know the other guys in the club over the next books.
Finally, after many cat-and-mouse encounters, Vincent Ramos lets himself fall for Tina. When a client starts harassing her, Vincent protects her and decides to let go of his past and look to a future with Tina.
Finally Lilly tied a knot with Lang and Tina finally wanted to pursue her crush Vincent.. But Vincent doesn’t believe it happily ever after after two failed marriage.
Feisty Tina wanted to pursue Vincent but he seems he is always arm length away from her. When one of her client harasses her, she seeks his help. not only her client is following her, he constantly calls and follows her around. When he finds out she has been harassed by a client, he is willing to do anything to protect her. Tina doesn’t want him to just protect her, she wants him to pursue her.
But her client/stalker’s aggression is escalating and Vincent is worried it will get worst not better. Now Tina needs to make decision if she still wants to keep that client and pursue Vincent..
Now they will find if they are right for each other or another fling for both of them.
I did enjoy reading both series. Both Tina and Vincent were made for each other.
