I really loved this first book in a new to my series and author. I can't wait to read the next one. The characters and location really add to the plot. This book keeps you guessing until the end.

Margie is back - and this time she brought a pig!

Mother Knows Best, a hilarious sequel to Mother's Day Out, beautifully blends mystery, humor, and the daily drama of suburban parenthood. Already juggling a husband trying to "find himself", snobby in-laws, a daughter with a species identity crises, and a visiting hippie mother, Margie has a full plate. Now in between trailing cheating spouses to strip clubs and attending PTA meetings, Margie has to clear her best friend as a murder suspect.

And then there's one of my favorite characters EVER, Bubba Sue, the pregnant pig with anger management issues.

While Mother Knows Best is a fun read on its own, I highly recommend picking up Mother's Day Out first if you haven't read it already. You'll fall in love with Margie, her unique boss, her zany family, and most of all - Bubba Sue!
