Although there is nothing groundbreaking here, it's a good guide for writers who are just starting out and want to understand the business of publishing.

As a new writer, I found this book helpful, both for terms that I was totally unfamiliar with and for terms that I suspected I knew what they meant, but wanted to make sure that I truly did understand them.
