I will have to say that while I like the series (a lot), I think this series is not appropriate for most teenage readers, Understand me well - I am against banning books. I am merely saying that you should not expect to find this book in school libraries, it is a great read that might better be discovered at a public library.

I've been a fan of Jacqueline Carey for years, but I don't like the Naamah series as much as I liked the Kusheline saga. The Naamah series started out with such a strong premise, but has over time evolved to rehashing the culture and atmosphere created in Kushiel's Dart. It doesn't feel as fresh and new as I'd hoped.
