It was not as bad as many reviews mentioned or maybe because I started the book with low expectations due to the review I'd read before hand. But the forbidden romance actually made a little sense. The ending isn't what you call a perfect ending but it was good nonetheless. Better than what I actually expected. The story was slightly flawed but it was not bad enough for me to stop reading. One of the biggest problems that I had was that both the voices of Piper and Chase sounded the same for me. I did not feel like I was reading POVs of a guy and a girl but rather two girls. This was the major deficiency in the book for me. With holding that I would mention that story itself managed to be an Ok for me.

I couldn’t finish this book, I like the author’s writing and have enjoyed many of their books before but this one wasn’t one I could get into. I will try again when the author’s next book is released as I am a fan of theirs.
