Very different characters to follow along. There are so many secrets that need to be revealed and keep you guessing until the end. Unexpected and surprise for the character because she was unaware of the secrets her mother had. Good read. I

I found this book entertaining and an easy read. You And Me, Always involves several characters which keeps the story multi-layered yet unified. This is the perfect book if you're looking for an easy, enjoyable read. 3.75 stars rounding up to 4.

3.5 stars, rounded up. Jill Mansell's writing is reminiscent of the hey-day of "chick lit" in the early 2000s, in a very good way. Relationships, both between romantic partners and friends takes priority, and this book was entertaining. The large cast of characters should make this book confusing, but the author manages all the characters in a way that makes the story comprehensible and cohesive.

Another great book from Jill Mansell. Follows the life of Lily, who, on her birthday, opens the last letter left to her by her mum who died when Lily was young. This leads Lily to her mum's only love, meeting her estranged dad and finding love herself. Lovely story, lovely characters. Well recommended!
