The book begins with tips and requirements for the reader to begin working with the book. I love that the author refers to her introduction to an Ikea instruction manual. I have been using a bullet journal for the past five years. This year, I decided to go with a digital journal, and I haven’t looked back. I have gained some ideas from this book and some inspiration to begin writing first thing in the morning to set up my day. If you would like to begin a daily journaling routine, this is a good place to start.

This book was just a little too juvenile for my taste. I'm endlessly fascinated by journaling and learning about it, but the activities listed in this book weren't up my alley. I don't want to track my dreams and writing to-do lists isn't journaling, in my opinion at least. I found the entire thing just a little too odd for me.

This book is a combination new age, self-help book and journal prompt book, which is a rather strange mix. The journal prompts are diverse and helpful. The book itself is written by a very young woman and may be better suited for a younger audience. Would be a good fit for young folks who believe in manifestation, The Secret, and so on and are looking for help getting started with journaling.

I wanted to like this book, but I found the tips to be not quite what I was looking for. While they could be helpful if you are new to journaling, someone who has journaled before most likely wouldn't find anything new here.

Great cover but the content was not what I expected. The title and cover led me to believe it would be more helpful for adults interested in journaling.

Let it Out is not a book of journal prompts, but a book full of ideas and techniques to may help a person get more in touch with their feelings, thoughts, hopes and desires.
