This is a quick read, full of the ups and downs of being on the cusp of Hollywood stardom and not being able to get there -- of course as a memoir, we only have the author's perspective, but it would have been very interesting to see the other side of how some of his pitch meetings went or other voices as he tried to turn his successful book into a movie and/or sitcom, and got worn down by the machinery of Hollywood, bad timing, and other forces that he was unable to navigate.
