I love(d) Octopus Pie as a webcomic, but I feel like it works better in that format. It's not that there's anything particularly wrong with it in trade format, it just didn't fully work for me.

I really feel like I'm missing something, because so many people love this series and I just didn't get it. I had a few chuckles here and there, but I feel like I almost wasn't old enough to get some of the humor (though I'm actually a few years older than the protagonists, so maybe it's just my personal experiences). I enjoyed the art and I can see why people could love this, it just didn't hit me as something amazing, which honestly makes me sad.

Quick, fun read, with some nice artwork. Nothing too special that makes it stand out, but overall enjoyable! Characters felt real, had me laughing at times.
