The third volume of Gillen and McKelvie's The Wicked + The Divine is titled Commercial Suicide. There are a bunch of great things about this book, as well as the guest artists that highlight each of the Gods.
If you weren't already hooked, The Wicked + The Divine Vol 3 is going to be the issue that hooks you,.
Now I will say that some people in my group found this slow, mostly because it's a completely different way to feature the characters, but I felt it was necessary to switch after all the things that happened in Vol 2.

I'll totally continue reading this series.

I am sorry, I downloaded this book 3 years ago and I can't read it anymore because it got archived. Anyway, I wouldn't have been able to properly review it since it was volume 3 and I hadn't read any of the other 2.

I love the mythology and the bombastic, colorful interpretations of Gods in modern times. It's one of my favorite graphic novels to pair with American Gods.

WicDiv is absolutely bonkers in the best way possible! I love how it just keeps changing and moving in every volume. The art of course is absolutely amazing as well as the story!

Amazing continuation of this series. Seriously can't get enough of Wicked and Divine. It's one of my favorite comics.

Ha! I actually liked this one better than the others! I guess it is my fondness for single issues. I liked that it followed a character and their backstory for an issue, and I liked the different art styles. Yes! Even the one that like, everyone is saying is ugly. I loved it! Hey guy, if you are reading this, I loved it! Another thing is that I never thought this series was that great to begin with. It's high concept, which... is not a compliment.

First, the illustrations and coloring is outstanding.

As expected I really enjoyed the premise of this story. What would happen not only if gods were regularly reincarnated, but if they only had a few years time? Turns out they are surprisingly petty. The characterizations is well-done though with very individualistic personalities.

This volume was interesting in the fact that we get a back story on each of the gods; however, the change in artwork really threw me off. It's one of the reasons why I love this series so much and I really missed the artwork. As usually it ended with a cliff-hanger so I'm ready for the next volume.
