I wish this novel contained more of the high-stakes action you would expect in a hero who's a Coast Guard. I didn't really feel the chemistry between the hero and heroine either.

Going through my netgalley account and just found the section of books titled Archived, not downloaded. I apparently requested and was approved for this book but I never DLd it and so did not read it. I appreciate the approval and while still interested in the title I am not sure when I will get to read it. If/when I do I will be sure to post a review on Instagram, goodreads, storygraph, and Amazon.

Griffin loves saving lives and nothing was different on stormy night. He is a hero coast guard pilot who risked his life to save a family who were stranded in the ocean. He was hero but his superiors didn't see it same way so he is suspended from flying.
Chloe, professional letter writer, she likes staying in one place. She has her own trauma that altered her life forever. When Griffin approached her, she couldn't believe her eyes but that didn't last long when he vanishes.
Griffin wanted to find mystery letter writer and when he found her, he wanted to know more about her. They are getting along fine until he finds out she is still a virgin.
This becomes a topic for Naked Men blog that he and his best friends set up. It shouldn't have been the topic but for Chloe, it was something she wanted to get rid of. He doesn't want to be her first but something is telling him he can't let that happen to Chloe.
Now they will have to figure out what they should do and how to continue on.
It was pretty good start of the series. I would like to read about all of his buddies. They seems very interesting who went through same trauma and that changed their lives forever.
Thanks to Netgalley and Loveswept for ARC in exchange for honest review.

Opposites attract…

I enjoyed this breezy, romantic comedy, a first read of this author. Griffin was seemingly afraid of nothing while Chloe was hesitant to say the least. They, surprisingly, had a lot in common, trying to ‘save’ people in their own unique ways. I have to say I was intrigued by Chloe’s chosen profession (and the varied stationery of course!). Jumping from the past to the present, Griffin’s motivations were clear as was his pursuit of Chloe. Their romance was a slow burn though quickly running into roadblocks. If I didn’t care as much for the ‘huge issue’ between them, I liked the way it panned out in the end. Am looking forward to more the Naked Men crew…

A tale of opposites attract. Griffin Montgomery, larger than life “hero” and "wallflower" Chloe Widmore. One comfortable in the limelight and the other, living life vicariously through her profession.

The Naked men is a series follows the lives a five men who went through a high-school misfortune but together survived it and came out of it as brothers and now share a blog with the same moniker, The Naked Men, where they talk about everything male, in an open and honest way.

Risking it All is Griffin's story detailing his and Chloe's journey to be braver together. This is a standalone full length novel, told from alternating point of view between the main characters. With a happy ending.

Risking it all was a really good romance, because not only were the main characters flawed and real, they had a similar back story that completely broke my heart.

Good day! Before anything else, I would like to extend my deepest, sincerest gratitude for sending me a digital review copy of this book (via NetGalley). Thank you very much for the opportunity!

Unfortunately, I am sad to say that I have lost interest in this particular title, and consequently, I have decided against finishing it. Forcing myself to finish a book I am disinterested in (solely for the sake of finishing it) can only negatively impact the entirety of my reading experience, which, in turn, could result in me writing an unfairly negative review. That is a circumstance I hope to avoid. With that said, I believe that the best course of action is for me to simply not read it and to refrain from publicly posting any feedback regarding this book.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Again, thank you for the lovely opportunity!

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Ooh. I'm liking these Naked Men! I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Griff after he freaked out on Chloe for her lack of experience, but he made up for it.

Griff has always been in charge. As the captain of the soccer team that was stranded in the Alps after a crash, he's become used to saving people, and he's good at it. Chloe had her own brush with death, but is dealing with it very differently, preferring to stick to a routine and not put herself in any unnecessary danger. The two couldn't be more different, and yet Barth created a couple that not only worked, but kept you invested. Even without the heat factor, she created such a connection between the two.

Now let's talk about the guys, because holy crow, I am loving this friendship they have! I love that they tease one another, but obviously have nothing but love and respect for each other. I wish we had a little more of that with Chloe and Summer...only because when things got tense with both groups of friends, you didn't know how she was going to react.

I'm diving right into the next Naked Men book because I can't wait to see them all meet their match!

Griffin and Chloe are so, so good together. Having similar tragedies in their pasts helped them to understand each other. Working through their problems and facing their fears brought them closer.

REVIEWED BY SUNNY

What a great setup story to a fun series. Five friends in a tragic accident all live to tell about it, each with a unique story of how the event changed them. For Griffin, it became the reason he chose the career path he did, and he takes constant risks to save lives. In this opposites-attract story, we have Chloe, the furthest thing EVER from a risk taker. There were times I had to be patient with them as they dealt with silly issues about sexual experience and their differences, but it all came together well by the end of the story.

Have not read this book as I did not get time to read it yet. Will update the review after I have gotten a chance to read it.

I enjoyed this contemporary romance about Griffin and Chloe. Griffin was a wonderful main character, and was a hero in the true sense of the word. I loved his protectiveness and his sense of duty. Chloe was another great character, and I found her very likable. Watching the relationship develop between these two was fun, and the fast paced story was enjoyable to read.

So I'm so delighted to be reading another book by the marvelous Christi Barth, and I get to launch back in with another one of the ACS aka the Naked Men, and this time we get...Griffin. Now for the sake of honesty! I'm reading these out on context, I should have read Knox book second, but I was late to the party *silly of me, I know!* So bare with me...then check out My review of Knox story here!

Griffin Montgomery is a leader, Captain, savior of the guys when they were stick in the alps, after their tour bus hustled over the side of the cliff in flames, when they were in high school, and years later his is a lieutenant in the coast guards, saving people from death. But after his last dangerous mission, where he put his team in danger, but rescued 3 people, and unintentionally became a YouTube star, his commander was less than impressed, and grounded him.

Angry and frustrated, Griff went to his family...not his mother, but the guys whom always had his back. But he found a lot more than he bargained for, in the pretty little letter writer Chloe Widmore . Chloe has suffered her own trauma, but is content with her life, despite her best friend Summer from trying to get her to come out if her she'll a little. But with Griff, she wants to, that is until the past haunts the both.

Wow! What a book! These Naked boys are giving me a run for my money with theses emotional books, but I love them and couldn't give them up for anything.

I have to say that Christi Barth is an amazing story teller, her books keep you emotionally involved, and on the edge of your seat! But then there are some moments, when you are laughing so hard, that you have to stop yourself from falling out of your chair! And Risking It All is exactly the same way! The plot and writing are just amazing, that you cannot help falling for every single one of the characters! I just have one question...where the heck is Logan!!

I give Risking It All 5 stars!!

Risking it All had a great blurb, a great prologue and a great ending - but the middle fell flat. The two characters, Griff and Chloe don't even really seem to like each other let alone fall in love. When their dialogue doesn't convince me that they want to fight for each other - why would I?
