Another great story from Phil Bildner about two boys, Rip and Red, who love to play basketball and have each other's backs. This one has big themes of friendship, dealing with the new kid (who is somewhat annoying and a really good basketball player), fighting for what's right, and the family that is a school. There are also some hints about prejudice that might make for an interesting conversation. I liked this one a lot.
