With the war looming, this third installment in the Cavendon series kept me on the edge of my seat. Getting to return to the world of the Inghams and the Swanns for a third time was magical. It's definitely filled the Downton Abbey-sized hole in my life!

I was loving the Cavendon series. It's a little denser than my normal read, but it's well-written and enjoyable. I struggled with this book more than the others. It just moved slower.
