Fantastic read! Possibly one of the best books about the conflicts and how to fight well (for the growth and positive results) I have ever read. The book is aimed at the married couple, but even I as a single lady have gained tremendously here.
What I like about the book is how respectful it is. The authors do not support the cookie cutter plan, they recognize the uniqueness of every of us and (including baggage past and present) and intent us to work together. The book is also very practical, offering many concrete techniques and steps of how to deal with the conflict from the beginning to the ending debriefs. I find these information very useful, some had I tried before; the other ones are argumented well, aiming for the greater good. Also, God is very much present here in the book - because how can we exclude our faith from our fighting? And the true, tested faith shines through the pages.
The authors are married to each other for more than 40 years, so they are seasoned veterans and their love for each other shows (for example you can appreciate the loving humour and how comfortable they are with each other from when they speak abour their fights and building their marriage together).
The book is also not sugar-coated and it ackowledges many of the hidden parts of the conflicts (because Christians also can and do fight ugly), together with the respectully, yet honestly stated truths and recovery guidance.
As I say, very useful book.

Deeply recommended read, for everyone!
