Rue and Ethan are going in different directions. Ethan is still mourning his wife and not ready for a relationship. Rue wants to explore the world as a photographer. Can they find love somewhere in the middle?
I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. It has taken me along time to be able to actually finish this. I am glad i did though. This was actually a good read once I made myself read it. The first chapter was rough but if you can get past that the book is a fun, sweet story.

I want a puppy. That's what I'm getting from this. Every time I read a book that features dogs to adopt, I wish I was in a situation where I could get a dog.
But I digress. Rue and Ethan are as different as two people could probably be and watching them come together was a lot of fun. It was also really heartbreaking and emotional because you understood how much he loved his late wife and you got how big of a heart Rue had for him to break. I'm not sure why Ballance left that weird cliffhanger with Boyd, but I'm assuming nothing came of that.
Also, I love when authors give us a little epilogue so we can check in on our HFNs to see if they're really HEAs.
