Rebirth left Superman in a really weird place with multiple supermans and superladies bouncing around and Luthor being different and this book does not establish or explain anything about this status quo. the read is really disjointed and is really missing out on anything that solidifying a story or character arc.

The art is nice and gives that big wish fulfilment-y freedom that a Super-book ought to

Verdict: Skip it, Superman has not been well served by the latest reboot, and editorial doesn't seem to be interested to in making it better.

I am sorry I never got a chance to read this. My phone would not download it. I apologize.

Gene Luen Yang and John Romita find their groove in an unshaven, put-upon, and angry Superman whose identity has been revealed to the world, and so with that last bit of artifice removed becomes a suddenly more realistic character than ever before.
