Thanks for the opportunity to read and review this book. I wish I had taken the time to read this novella back when I read the first two books. Unfortunately, my reading tastes have changed too much and I'm too far removed from the series and the couple to get through this one.

Vivienne and Jonah continue to play in asking for more. Jonah continues to struggle with his inner demons when those he's close to get hurt. He wants to protect them, fix things and often blamed himself for not preventing them in the first place. Vivienne has moved on from her past while Jonah relives his trauma internally each time a loved one is hurt. This novella is a quick read. We get deeper into Jonah and Vivienne's minds and how they process through events. We observe the passion and protectiveness, their trust and love.
I love this series. A great blend of emotion, heat, and the touch of taboo. I've enjoyed everything I've read from Lilah Pace and I look forward to more of her work in the future.
