I enjoyed this book, it was a fun and entertaining read. It is well written, had good characters that are relatable, and had an interesting premise. I am looking forward to reading more by this author, maybe even with these same characters. This story was about a woman and her "germophobe" boyfriend, and their future together. It also includes her fun girlfriends, and her overbearing mother, and a reality show. This book made me laugh out loud several times, and was a fast read. I didn't want to put it down until I was finished. I'd definitely recommend this book to others looking for a light, summer/beach, chick lit read.
No longer interested in reading this. Clearing out old galleys.
This book is a slow starter...it took a while to get into the story, but it was worth the wait. The main character and two of her friends learn from their mistakes and grow as individuals.
I had a hard time connecting to this story at first. It was slow paced and I began to get frustrated but I enjoyed the ending and most things were resolved in the story. My one big criticism is the foul language, especially the continual use of f-bombs really detracted from the story itself.
Mary Grace Falcone loved cake and she was comfortable with Ralph Ichy. They were both teachers and when Ralph proposed, Mary Grace felt that it was the next step. But, she wasn't convinced that she wanted to take the next step with Ralph. Once she finally said yes, to Ralph's proposal, she began to question whether or not she was settling for Ralph or if there was someone else waiting for her. She had never been pursued in a relationship until Ralph but could there be more? Was she willing to sacrifice what she had with Ralph with the possibility there could be more with someone else? Would Ralph ever be enough for her?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
