What a dark, creepy story. It took me a bit longer to get into this one. But once I did, I was invested. I really liked the main characters. It truly was a resolute place. Now to find more books by this author. Im addicted.

I'm becoming a big fan of Loreth Anne White, and it's books like this that are the reason. In the Barren Ground was a really good romantic suspense. I enjoyed the characters, the storyline, and the setting.The suspense was great and was balanced well with the romance. I loved watching main characters Tana and Cash get to know one another and work together. I found this to be a dark and atmospheric thriller, and one that I really liked.

The story did not hold my interest at all I could not finish it

I truely enjoyed this story. I liked that there didn't have to be extensive bedroom scenes to make it a good story.
