This story is layered and in some ways, a commentary on the hero trope. The hero is a storyteller, but tasked with saving a village? He wants to run away. The village comes together to solve the problem and it is up to Tansy and Lancot to stop the dragon. The artwork is what draws me to this book again and again. It is beautifully illustrated to match the fairy tale that this story is. Overall, an enjoyable read.
