This beautiful book about cross-species friendships is great for students. It complements discussions about friendship, peace, and war -- at least as a starting-point. If different species of animals can get along (even though they might normally want to eat the other animal), then why can't humans, who are the same species? And everyone loves animal stories!

I loved reading the heart-warming stories and the accompanying photos of dogs and their friendships. The stories were interesting and unique. Great gift for a dog-loving friend or family member!
