I vaguely remember enjoying the first book in this series. By the time I got around to this one though, I'd honestly forgotten the entirety of the Amber Smoke and couldn't muster up that original enjoyment. I'd love to try the series again someday, restart from the beginning and binge them all at once, but there are so many amazing books out there and sadly these have just fallen by the wayside for me. So this one wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me.
