This book was a lovely little novella to accompany this series. I loved A Pound of Flesh and couldn't wait to find out more about the old characters and introducing a new couple.
The story was a bit predictable but still really enjoyable and it leads us into the next book in the series.
The author has a fantastic writing style and she always pulls me into the story and keeps me captivated.

Sophie Jackson can't go wrong. Her books are always so emotion provoking and quite stunning.
And I honestly love seeing what she comes out with next.
I'm always sucked into her books so fully, and this one was no exception.

It had such amazing characters, and the story was just so well written.

I never wanted it to end, but yet couldn't wait to finish the very last page, all at the same time.
