Enjoy the Megan and Brigit partnership. Love reading Brigit’s take on what’s important. Glad to see that Megan continues to have her eye on the prize career wise.

This series doesn't thrill me as much as Kelly's Tara Holloway series. The story lines are much simpler and more conventional. That said, I was interested enough to keep reading. I do like Brigit's POV the most.

The author told us about Megan and Derek's relationship, the gas and tasering, twice. It should have been caught by the editor at least. Since it comes up in every book, we really didn't need it twice in the same book. The whole sexist element seems out of place given the current climate...at least the public use of Bitches which Derek uses at least twice in front of witnesses in this story.
