This book is a little crazy and a lot melodramatic and I probably snickered more than I should have at places that probably weren't expecting a laugh.

That being said, it is a suspenseful romance with a happy conclusion and some twists and turns in the ride and I am happy that Aiken's backlist has been made available for current readers.

Great combination of romance and suspense. Loved the characters and how the book flowed.

I am so sorry, I didn't realize these were reissued from the 1970s! I am not a fan of romance novels from the 70s and 80s and don't want to rate them low based on that.
