There's not much more romantic than weddings and it was fun to see a photographer, dance instructor, and newspaper social columnist get their HEAs, especially as each role plays such an important part in many other brides happy endings.
Each story is short and sweet, with strong female leads, but the heroes were a little aggravating. Since they are novellas, the romance was a tad bit rushed for my taste and it would have been fun to see the stories and characters fleshed out more. This type of collection is perfect for moments when the reader is short on time, to catch a snippet of love here and there. LOVE ON A DEADLINE was my favorite of the set.
Content: Christian elements; mild romance

Picture Perfect Love:
Picture Perfect Love was a sweet romance. I liked the second chance love story and even though it was predictable, there were a few surprises. :)
I grew to really like the characters. At first, I wasn't crazy about them; but, as the story went on, I could see why they acted the way they did.
All in all, a great read. Just what I needed to read, as I was in the mood for a sweet contemporary romance.
I Hope You Dance:
I Hope You Dance was okay. The romance was WAY too quick and the story kind of boring at times. I feel like the only conflict in the novella was their disagreement on having kids someday and even that wasn't that big of a deal. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but I didn't love it.
Love on a Deadline:
Love on a Deadline was a really cute read and much better than the first book (Love at Mistletoe Inn) in this second set of "Year of Weddings" novellas.
I liked the characters and how Mac had feelings for Ethan in high school, but certain circumstances caused them to never get together. This story is kind of their second chance at love.
While the ending isn't the happily ever after you expect, it was still sweet and I liked it. I also enjoyed the other romance story in Ethan's sister's wedding -- I really liked that couple!
All in all, a fun read and I recommend it if you have a couple hours and want to read a light, romance story.
