Wonderful book about the history of ancient Rome. Four unforgettable characters that make the story even better. Each have their own issues and personalities that help with understanding some of the events that happened in ancient Rome. Good read.

I love to learn when I am reading historical fiction and this book was fascinating. I didn’t know very much about the history of Rome before starting this story. The writing was rich in detail and researched.

This was a great ending to an amazing series. I knew how it could or would end, but it was such a compelling ending. Very great book.
