As a Realtor, I still have a brief moment of nerves every time I take a buyer into a house for sale. Even if the property is vacant or I’ve arranged beforehand to be there, there’s always a chance I’m going to walk into something I’m not prepared for. Like someone sleeping, or someone in the shower, or two people – well, you know. Luckily, the worst thing I’ve found so far is a very messy house. But in the back of my mind, I’m always thinking about what could be waiting for me. Like, say, a dead body.

I thought Bones and Roses (book #1) was an OK read and Swimsuit Body gets the same. The mystery is simpler here, but the trade off is that I was getting into the characters more. Again, we have the killer outing themself which I hate and there is a twist which will probably not please many readers (that out of left field thing).

The last chapter was an epilogue which surprised me. I guess there will be no book 3 in the series. If so, I appreciated having a bit of a wrap up. While this series wasn't into cliffhangers, it always sucks when a series doesn't have a bit of a wrap up.

I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
