I'm not one into natural disasters, but I wanted to read the mystery aspect of it since I'd heard good things about the author. No doubt, I learned tons of great info about Cascadia and that part of the world. Quite intriguing, actually. I thought the story might have played second fiddle to the weather aspect of things, though. Not that it's a bad book. The writing is quite good. I just wanted more of a mystery.
