My sister and I have always had a close reletionship ever since we were toddlers. At a young age it was very love hate, she was the beautiful, smart, bossy one, and I was the quiet, painefully shy, accident prone siser. As we grew up though, and are now adults, we are true best friends and I am so thankful that she's MY overbearing sister! So obviously given my own sisterly experiences, I was really excited to read this.
Although twin sisters, Henrietta and Aribella, much like my own sister and I, couldn't be more different. After an argument, the girls stop speaking to one another. And Henrietta has an idea for revenge against her sister.
Henrietta is eventually sent away, to live elsewhere, but for Aribella life just isn't the same.
This at the core is very much a story of love, family and friendship, at the best and worst of times. If you love stories about releationships or like me, you have a seemingly similar sisterly relationship, then I think you'll want to pick this one up!
Henrietta and Arabella are twins. Arabella is the good twin, prefered by her parents for her lovely hair and clothes, Arabella is popular and has many friends. When Henrietta acts out in jealousy, she is banished from her home and sent to an eccentric aunt. As Henrietta comes to terms with her feelings and who she is, Arabella begins to miss her sister and think more about how Henrietta was being treated. A super fun middle grade read!
