Marcus Worthing, Earl of Summerville, was staying at Sir Seymour's home. His book on Zoology had
been lauded by Oxford's intellectuals. So he took a quiet retreat in Yorkshire. He heard bullets and lots of noise. A woman in grey walked across the ground. Then another woman but in green following the woman in grey. He yelled because bullets were still being fired. he finally caught her. He remembered her from his childhood along with her sister. I thought it was a wonderful novella. I will anxiously be waiting for the next segment. The characters were warm and engaging. It flowed well and was easy to read.
I received this ARC from Net Galley and voluntarily reviewed it. (less)
