I was skeptical about this book but I ended up liking it very much.
If you like science it will surely be a good read for you.

This book was fascinating in how the author blended the hard sciences of the search for life beyond our world with all the threads of other fields, pop culture, and even some touches of human spirituality. It kept me riveted through every page and made me want to learn more about the nuts and bolts of the quest, but then too sent me off down many, many other intriguing rabbit holes; so for me it was the best of all worlds (pardon the pun) Definitely a thumbs up!
