I enjoy the Pike Logan series. Using real world leaders such as Putin to make it believable and to add to the tension. As always, the chemistry between the team know as the Task Force is what drives the plot. They work well together and with all that tension, the humor can be funny. Along with this thriller and such as the world today, politics are being played out. But Logan's team is straight up protecting the interest of the United States. The people and the way of life.

With the threat of war and who is pulling the strings is the end game. Who does it benefit to be in a war with Russia. These age old questions seem pretty real to our current situation. I think that is what it makes it so good. The only difference, we Pike and his team on our side.
