Its been a long time since I read these books and to be honest I cannot recall what I thought of them at all.

So, the author's writing style is really amazing but I think we're just not a good match. I thought might be a fluke when reading Strain, which bored me to death and ended up ditching halfway through, sadly.

Risk Aware sounded awesome. Loved the plot idea but the execution was surprisingly unexciting and irritating, character-wise.

One moment I liked Geoff, the next I was like what the hell? Same goes for Robin. It was weird.

I am down for a good BDSM story and this one sounded too good to be true, which for me it was.

It's all about the sex, from page one, and for that it was just way too long. Drawn-out and at times down right boring.

There was especially one thing that stood out: Geoff desires to be humiliated and tortured (he fantasized about being raped etc.). I get that he thinks himself not as a true submissive (I think we can all agree that he's rather a pain slut, really) but when God sent him Robin and he can finally experience real-life humiliation he acts like a moody wuss.

Gah. I didn't get it. It was what he wanted and he totally freaked out. It just did not make sense and my initial like I had going for the guy went downhill from there. Because, really? O_o
