Wonderful story that shows inner conflict and deciding to do the right thing. Interesting characters in this story. The setting of Mining and the complications that it can hurt the environment and makes people have to decide what they want to do and which side they want to be on makes her very interesting reading as they work through the issues. Good read.

This book has so many important aspects to it, regarding the environment and the struggles in a typical high school. I'm very cautious about the environment, and I really think this book shows exactly what happens between when you're torn between what's right and what you need to do to survive.
