What a great read to read with your kids. That last year of elementary school can be very intense and scary as you move into middle school. There are lots of changes ahead and changes within yourself. Families will enjoy reading this story together.

I was disappointing in this book. Admittedly, I only read half of it because that half reinforced some stereotypes about girls that I was uncomfortable with as a reader.

Christine Goudda hates her nickname, "Tink" and as she moves out of elementary school thinking, she wants a new nickname, and a new identity. It's not easy not quite fitting in anymore, and when friends change and goals change, Christine becomes Hundred Percent, and it means more than just a nickname.
