A small town, sweet romance in this hockey series focuses on single-mom Indie and her three year old trying to survive. Everyone handles unplanned pregnancies differently and Indie is no stranger to judgement and assumptions. Indie has done what she can to thrive and provide for her child despite the speed bumps along the way.
When Jason Taylor falls for Indie what will he do when he finds out she's a single mom? Will their age-gap be an issue for this officer of the law? What will happen when they discover that he's the hockey coach for her brothers team?
A quick sweet read for fans of this series with interconnected characters and lots of hockey related updates.
Solid book. However after being around youth hockey for years, I feel the author didn't quite capture the completely ridiculousness that the parents take there youth hockey. I also like the fact the author went somewhere new with the story. Instead of the coach being some former pro on a redemption tour, or some other familiar trope, she made him a regular guy, like most hockey coaches. I wish the book was slightly longer, but all in all a good read.
I love this series. This was the first one to get me interested in Sports Romance novels. I love the Pilots Hockey players. They all have issues but we can't help love them. In my opinion give all the books in the series at 5 star rating!!!!
Reading Order:
1) Delayed Penalty
2) Power Play
3) Interference
4) Unsportsmanlike Conduct
5) Breakaway
Interference by Sophia Henry was a sweet and charming sports romance (of sorts) between single and determined mom Indie and part-time junior hockey coach and cop Jason. Indie was full of sass and determined to give her son all she can. Jason struggled with demons from his past, but was a good man with a big heart. Two broken people who found what they needed in each other. Such a sweet story.
Happy reading.
I adore this series and Indie (Linden) and Jason were the perfect mix of sweet, sexy and fun. And Interference is my favorite out of the series to date.
Indie and Jason have that perfect chemistry from the start. They just worked so well together.
Jason and Indie both have their own demons to chase. Indie will taking care of her 3 year old son and surviving his dead beat dad... plus watching over her brother. Jason with trying to come to terms with being adopted and connecting with his biological sister.
This is book takes you through the emotions. Another great addition to the series!
