I just couldn’t get into this book. I found it extremely frustrated that Nell’s father just mysteriously leaves town and her parents give her absolutely nothing about the reason.

I can't stop reading books about the Lost Colony of Roanoke. This was a great middle grades book that offers real information along with some speculation. The main character meets a ghost who has haunted the island for 400 years and helps him find what he's looking for.
