Killer Look takes place soon after Alex Cooper survived the kidnapping. Coop is on leave and tries to spend time with Mike at her beach house while recuperating. When Mike is called back on a suspicious death, Coop decides to return to NYC. Though she's still on leave, a personal connection brings her into the investigation of a possible suicide, possible suspicious death of a fashion mogul.
Linda Fairstein takes us behind the scenes of NYC's Garment District, Fashion Week and other NYC fashion institutions. This coupled with the changed Cooper makes this a particularly engrossing read.

Another enthralling install dnt in this series. Coop is recovering from a traumatic experience but still stays on top of the situation. Also an interesting look into the inside of the fashion industry. A recommended read!
