I enjoyed this book. Although it isn't necessarily one to recommend to my students, it was an easy, enjoyable read for me. Sometimes, that is all I am looking for. This fit the bill. The characters are interesting enough to follow and the plot has just enough intrigue to keep a reader going.

Nicely written novel of secrets, love, and loss. The varying voices do all sound a bit alike but their perspectives are different. This is the sort of novel you can settle into and relax. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC- I can't imagine why I didn't read this one earlier but I'm glad I did. This is domestic fiction you'll be able to relate to. A relaxing read.

I found the concept of this book interesting. I belong to a community pool club and every summer there is always lots of drama there even though its supposed to be a place to relax. I could relate with the characters, especially sunscreening and feeding all the kids there.
The story had a few twists and turns (and thankfully more drama than we experienced at our pool). It was a quick and easy read. I read this in about 2 days and enjoyed it.
