I loved the characters of Rome and Father Treece and their backstory. The plot and mystery of the book were excellent with a surprise ending.

his was a good romantic suspense. Detective Mariam Rome works with her former partner, Father Augustine Treece to catch a serial killer. This one had a nice balance of romance and suspense, a good storyline, and appealing characters.

There were not a lot of sympathetic characters in the story which wasn't a big deal. It was fairly interesting but I didn't care about the characters at all.

It was a little interesting mystery novel. I didn't figure it out till the end
