I received The Crescendo, the 4th installment of Fiona Palmer's MTG series, from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Having not read the previous three in the series, I was going into this one completely blind to the workings of the MTG Agency, and I really wish I would have taken the time to get my hands on books 1-3 first. It could be read as a stand-alone like I did, but I feel like you'd get more out of it if you read the series in order.

Once I got over my initial confusion, however, I couldn't put my iPad down! It was just that action-packed. The story follows both Jaz and Ryan as the later is undercover and the former is trying to finish school AND help Ryan.

I loved the chemistry between Jaz and Ryan...it definitely scorched at times. The writing took a bit of getting used to...the style wasn't what I'm accustomed to as far as it being a bit jerky, but once I acclimatized my brain to it it was all good! I seriously love a good mystery/thriller/romance...romantic suspense is the best kind of book!

I would give this 4/5 stars. Now off I go to get my hands on the first three!

Due to family commitments, I have been unable to read this book. I thank you for the provision of it, and if I get to it in the future, I will make sure to leave public reviews on Goodreads and my personal blog. Again, apologies and thanks.
