I wasn't a huge fan of Gideon Crew's first book, but I decided to go ahead with this one because I did enjoy the original Ice Limit story. Unfortunately, it's another of those side-stories I'm just glad they didn't waste on Pendergast. The story was just plain silly, and Gideon Crew remains a thin, boring protagonist with little in the way of motivation.

I love Preston and Child's work! And was interested to see how they tied The Ice Limit and the Gideon Crew series together!

A fine SciFi-tinged adventure yarn with plenty of suspense and action. A welcome addition to the Preston/Child canon.
