Simple, easy recipes that tasted great, and used common ingredients that most families would already have. If you didn't, it often gave a substitute that you could use. The pictures throughout were nice and colorful, and the recipes were easy to follow.

This cookbook looks great! I appreciate the sections that provide substitute options for recipes, as I'm a picky eater and won't always eat the all of the items in a single recipe. In addition, it has delicious-looking pictures that draw you into the recipe. It includes both unique recipes, as well as some spins on regular recipes like scrambled eggs and pasta with red sauce. I'm eager to try several of these, especially the holiday recipes!
