Scandal, romance, family, war, politics,....this book has many elements. The author did a very good job weaving these elements into a story. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

The Redcliffe sisters saga continues in the setting of World War II. Intrigue, involvement with military men on both sides, the bombing of London, the occupation of Egypt... It is all there as the sisters do what sisters do best...agree and disagree, hurt and apologize, and ultimately continue to love one another.

I don't think this was the book for me. I don't generally like it when stories pitch sisters against each other over men.
