Meditation for Moms and Dads by Shana Smith is a great book for all parents. Parenthood can bring with it so much stress and anxiety, and meditation and relaxation are just what’s needed to bring some love and light. She delves into mediation and mindfulness and reminds us that in parenting every day we are faced with myriads of challenges and every step of the way we can grow and improve. She tries to help us focus on our “parent mind” and how to put ourselves in the right mindset to be the best parent we can be for our children and ourselves.
