Lexi Blake is continuing her Lawless series with the youngest brother Brandon who has a dark past from his days in foster care. Brandon decided to help take down the next family enemy by having to get close to her assistant Carly Hendricks. Carly starts to care deeply for Brandon, yet was still leary of him and his goals. Great unveiling of plot twist that kept the story moving, loved seeing Brandon and Carly fall in love. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Satisfaction is the second book in the Lawless series and it follows the youngest brother, Brandon as he journeys to that elusive happily ever after. A happy ending that he does not believe he deserves. When we first meet Brandon is the first book, Ruthless, he is a happy go lucky kind of guy until he gets into a fight and the brothers plus Hatch have to go and bail him out. You get a sense that of all the Lawless siblings, Riley and Bran are still dealing with issues from when they were in the foster care system.

Riley has trouble sleeping with the door open. It's got to be locked and he has to sleep alone. Bran, Bran has nightmares about a night he'd rather forget. About a girl he cared about and couldn't save.

Riley is the charming brother. Andrew is the vengeful brother. But Bran? Bran is the protective brother. He's Captain Save a Hoe. You can find him at the strip club beating on guys that think strippers are their personal property. In the first book, Riley got in a lot of trouble because 1) he fell in love with his mark and 2) he lied through his buck teeth about everything under the sun. Bran is determined that they learn from their mistakes so when the next phase in their revenge plot calls for getting close to the personal assistant of the next person on their hit list, Bran sneaks in and steals Drew's spotlight.

Carly Fisher is Patricia Cain's personal assistant and overall grunt. Patricia Cain is next up on the Lawless siblings hit list. They need Carly's assistance in getting close to Patricia so that they can take her down. Drew's plan was to seduce Carly into letting him get close so that he use her to handle his business but Bran's idea was to bring Carly into the plan. Make her an ally. Present her with the truth, with the facts and let her decide if she wants to help them. Drew is not a fan of Bran's plan and he's not a fan of allies.

Bran and Carly's romance was sweet. I really enjoyed seeing them get to know each other and getting to know the both of them myself. They were great characters, and I loved Bran. I loved how honest he was, how hard he worked to take care of those he loved and I really loved how he went toe to toe with Drew. Drew has a tendency of being so narrow-minded that he can be hard to be around. His personality is very off-putting but for those that know him, that love him, they understand him. Bran is the opposite of Drew. He's very easy to be around. He's quick to smile. He's loyal and even when he was being a dumbass, I loved him.

Carly was the newbie on the scene, so she had a lot of catching up to do on making me like her. I enjoyed her character as a whole but she did get on my nerves from time to time. Her reasoning drove me nuts but in her heart of hearts, she was a good person. I liked that she was smart, she was loyal to her sister and when she stopped letting her insecurities get to her, she was a great partner for Bran.

Overall, this was a great story with characters that rocked my socks and I'm really thirsty for Revenge, Drew's book. I called his heroine right when we met her in this book. The ending for this book has me super anxious for the next one because I just know Drew is going to piss everyone off in the name of protecting his family and I just know it's going to be good. I'm so here for it.

Satisfaction
Lawless series book #2
Release Date: January 3, 2017
Review copy provided by the publisher

I always look forward to discovering what Lexie Blake's characters will be like. I've come to expect a healthy dose of sarcastic wit and laugh out loud moments. I was very happy to see that this book had those ingredients.

I will admit that I found this book a wee bit slow in the beginning. I wasn't put off by it because I was confident that I would get sucked into the story soon enough. After a few chapters, that did indeed happen. I've never been disappointed by a Lexie Blake novel. I'm glad to see the trend continue with this book.

I had a quick social media conversation with a friend about how to describe Brandon. I couldn't put my finger on a word that I thought would encompass him. He was vulnerable, yes, very much so. But there was something else. My friend nailed it on the head...blunt, Brandon Lawless is ridiculously blunt! His thoughts and feelings, no matter how awkward or painful they might be, always came spewing out of his mouth. He kept a dark secret to himself, but other than that, Brandon was honest in everything. It was sometimes uncomfortable, but not it a bad way. It was actually refreshing to have a hero that didn't beat around the bush.

I adore a story that has the hero wanting to be the "knight in shining armour". Brandon's need to coddle and protect is always apparent. Carly doesn't want to fall hard for this guy. She's got a ton of crap going on with her evil boss and doesn't want anymore complications. Too bad her heart and girly bits didn't care about practicality.

I loved these two together. They made a cohesive team. Brandon wanted to keep her safe and she eventually let him do it. I've read a lot of romance novels, and I think Brandon might be the hero that I wanted to save the most. He's tortured and doesn't believe he deserves a chance at real happiness. I wanted to scoop him up and love on him.

This book has a continuing story arc that started with book 1 and will continue through the next book. Each couple gets their happily ever after, so there's no cliffhangers there. The suspense aspect, catching the bad guys is continued. In true Lexie Blake fashion, there is some serious super sleuthing in this book! All sorts of clues and moments where you're like...what the hell?! I didn't see that coming! I'm always kept on my toes and I love it!

The supporting characters in this book are fabulous. Drew Lawless, the older brother is a hoot! His social graces are lacking. He's a bit awkward, but he's super yummy and delicious! His book is next and I can't wait! I was so excited to be able to visit with some of the McKay-Taggert team from Lexie's, Masters and Mercenaries series! This series is a spinoff of sorts from that series, but you don't need to have read those to fully enjoy these books. But you totally should read that series too! I can't really delve into too many details without giving away spoilers, so it's a bit daunting to try and tell you how much I enjoyed it. The characters were well written, the plot is thick with important details and fast paced action, and the love scenes were tantalizing. This is a book, and series, that any romance lover won't want to miss!

I love me some Lexi. Seriously everything she writes is full of passion and love and I am totally addicted to every bit of it.

Brandon is simply delicious. I loved him for Carly in and out of the bedroom, but mostly for her heart. What begins as a fact finding mission turns into something so much more. They are scorching hot together and I loved the intrigue that was the background to their love story. I can't wait to read more in this series.

I give Satisfaction 5 hearts!

Oh Lexi Blake, how do I love thee?!?! Let me count the ways......oh wait, we don't have all day for that. But let me tell you, that list is incredibly long!!

Lexi never ceases to amaze me with her talent. Her books are never repetitive of any previous plots or scenarios. And I love that we see the awesome characters from her other series (Masters and Mercenaries). And she gives us just enough information to give us an idea on who they are, but also gives us the perfect combination of curiosity with a hint of hidden persuasion to have us wanting to go read that series.

But back to the book. Satisfaction is book #2 in Lexi's Lawless series and it's just as good as the first one. This book is about Brandon (Bran) and Carly. The Lawless family is still going after the people who murdered their family and their next target is Patricia Cain, Carly's boss. But Brandon doesn't want to use another person in their game of revenge and throws a few curve balls into Drew's plans by meeting Carly first.

We met Bran in the first book and know he has this sort of hero complex where he wants to help the damsels in distress. But Carly isn't exactly the same woman he's used to going after. And Bran is completely different from the rest of his family because of his experience in the foster care system.

I love the chemistry between Bran and Carly. And their entire relationship is built differently. They are both coming at this with a means to an end. But when things get more involved than they anticipated, they both need to face their problems one way or another. One thing I loved about these two was their honesty with each other. I think that really add to their connection and made their story so much more.

Lexi has this unique way of combining her suspenseful writing with her romance. Neither is out of sorts and they both blend perfectly giving us this amazing story. Lexi gives her characters some complexity to them and you always are able to connect to them and they become so real to you.

And of course, just when I think Lexi has given us every twist or surprise we can think of, she goes and throws us a huge cliffhanger that leaves me jaw smashing into the ground....where it will stay until I get the next book.

I was very excited to read this book because Bran was a stood out to me in the first book, and I wanted to read his story so bad. And while I did like and enjoy this one, it wasn't the same level of enjoyment as the first book.

Satisfaction started off slow, which I normally wouldn't mind as long as it gives me character development and some plot development too. But sometimes, some of the scenes felt like filler to me. And it didn't really help that this book also had to set up the next book in the series, which by the way I am totally looking forward to because hello, Drew seems like an asshole I would really like. But I digress.

This was took too much time setting up other story lines that it forgot about its main couple: Carly and Bran. I liked them but I found them a bit bland, especially Carly. She's a nice enough heroine but her personality is a bit blah. Even when she was together with Bran. They have some chemistry but again, I feel like their relationship was an afterthought.

The best part about this book though was the climax where secrets are starting to come out. Man, the revelations in this book were mind blowing. I never even suspected that the story would go this way. It totally changed everything. It changed the whole game for the Lawless siblings. I cannot wait for the conclusion to this series.

Overall, Satisfaction felt more like a filler book. It's a prelude to the grand finale.

Satisfaction has been on my list of most-anticipated reads ever since I finished reading the Lawless series starter, Ruthless, last year. So, when an actual hard copy of the advanced reader's copy (ARC)--plus a few extra goodies from the author, Lexi Blake--arrived via air mail a couple of months ago, I was an extremely happy camper. Blake gave me everything I was looking and then some. The romance, sex, suspense, and mystery--plus the always intriguing family dynamics among the four Lawless siblings and the appearances of the McKay-Taggert group--were all taken up a notch. Now, not only am I counting the months before I get Revenge in my hands but I'm all curious about the McKay-Taggert characters, whose stories are told in the author's Masters and Mercenaries series, including the romance between Case Taggert and the youngest Lawless and the only sister, Mia. The upcoming third and final novel in the Lawless series has been on my to-be-read list since I stumbled upon it on Goodreads, but after that damn cliffhanger of an ending in Satisfaction, I'm even more antsy to find out how it all finally ends.

The rest of the world may know him now as Brandon Lang, but he will always be Brandon Lawless where it counts. His oldest brother Drew may not have been thrilled with him stepping in as Carly Hendricks's blind date, but Bran wasn't willing to let the innocent personal assistant to one of their personal enemies fall through the cracks simply because they needed to use her for their plans. He had seen how their original plan nearly imploded and took its toll on his other brother Riley and his now-sister-in-law Ellie. Bran wants to try another tact--to be as honest with Carly as possible and get her to agree to help him and his family to gain justice for the deaths of his parents. His honesty even has him admitting just how much he wants Carly in his bed--a truth that she doesn't quite believe, not after having been used by her ex-husband and now being used by her boss. Bran thinks he's too damaged to get the same kind of happily-ever-after his older brother and his sister are now enjoying, but getting as close as possible to Carly makes him wish he could be the man for her...but first they'll have to outwit a new unseen enemy.

At the rate this series is going, don't be surprised if you see it on my year-end list of favorites for 2017. The series story arc regarding the revenge the siblings are looking for is still there, and just like in the first book, another Lawless sibling's perspective shifts when he finds love with "the one". But don't think that Bran is like Riley and Carly like Ellie. This new couple is very different, with Bran having suffered through his own trauma after he and Mia were split up and he was put into foster care. Carly may initially come off as weak, but once you learn the inner workings of her mind and what she's been doing behind the scenes, you'll come to realize that this woman is made of stronger stuff and is a force to be reckoned with. Bran has his demons, ones that he often hides between his easygoing facade, but in order for him to be with someone like Carly, he has to battle through them, and when those demons were exposed, my heart broke for him, as it did for his siblings who truly suffered because of what happened to their parents. That ending though...gah! June can't come fast enough! Five-plus stars for Satisfaction. ♥

Satisfaction is the second book in the Lawless series. I had quite enjoyed myself while reading Ruthless so I was looking forward to Satisfaction. It definitely doesn't hurt that Lexi Blake is a really good author with engaging writing. I'm also quite invested in the Lawless siblings and their quest for revenge so I was curious to see how Brandon's story would go.

Okay, so Brandon is a man on a mission. He and his siblings need to get more information to clear their father's name. After the revelations in the last book, one of their way in is through the enemy's personal assistant. I liked Brandon. He was truly broken in his own way. These Lawless siblings have had a rough childhood and each one is messed up in his own way. But I liked how Brandon was so protective of Carly. He was a good man.

Then we have Carly. Carly is innocent and sweet and everything good. She has a horrible ex whose gambling debts get her in trouble. Her boss holds her on a leash and is blackmailing her. But in spite of these awful circumstances Carly has learnt to cope. She still has an optimistic view in life and all she wants is for someone to love her for who she is.

I liked the bond Carly and Brandon shared. They had chemistry but more than that they were straight with each other right from the beginning. I liked how Carly took care of Brandon. He was in desperate need of affection and a soft touch. In return Brandon was protective of Carly. Brandon was one of those heroes who thought himself to be undeserving but Carly proves him wrong.

I liked seeing all the other Lawless siblings with their better halves in Satisfaction. We also get to see the Taggart-Mackay team and they were a hilarious bunch. Satisfaction was full of action and some twists that I did not see coming. Especially the last one. The story is already brewing between the oldest and most stubborn Lawless sibling- Andrew and Shelby so I can't wait for the next book.

*Note: A copy of this book was provided by the author/publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. We thank them.

Brandon Lawless wasn’t the brother I was dying to read about when I finished the first book. However, there were so many feelings under the surface with him that got me to care about his character.

He takes on the task of seducing Carly, the assistant to one of their revenge plot targets. Carly has had it rough as of late. Recently divorced from a con of a husband. Forced to work for her bitch boss. And lacking self esteem because she sees herself as not good enough for someone as good looking as Brandon to take real interest in.

Their dynamic was a lot of fun. She was no push-over when it counted and I liked that about her. They definitely had a lot of chemistry in and out of the bedroom.

Overall, they were both likeable even though not my favorite characters in the series. What I’m still dying to see is Drew fall to his knees.

4 Stars!

The story has laughs, and heartbreak.

I would recommend reading the below before reading this story:
Ruthless (Lawless, #1)

This is Carly and Brandon’s story. Brandon will do anything to solve his parent’s murder. He approaches Carly who works for someone that is linked to the murder. Can he get her to help him with the investigation? Will he get her help or will he have to seduce the fact out of her? Can he trust in what she tells him? What happens when danger surrounds them? Will he step up to protect her? Can he protect her? Or will the investigation take its toll on anything they might have had?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

4.5 Suspense filled stars

Good heavens I am totally obsessed with this series. The Lawless siblings quest to discover the truth behind their parents’ murder and to clear their father’s name continues in Satisfaction and once again Lexi Blake reeled me into her tangled web of secrets, lies and deceptions. With a plot masterfully filled with suspense, twists and loads of passion, I could not put Brandon and Carly’s romance down. It was a satisfyingly juicy and steamy read.

Following the story line we met all the Lawless children, how they were left orphaned years ago and their need for justice. Satisfaction is Brandon’s story - the younger brother riddled with fears who felt unworthy of being loved. Left on his own for so many years, he barely survived the cruelty of the foster care system. Bran’s past was heartbreaking and I couldn’t help but fall for his character even more. Seeing his childhood traumas, I understood his need to protect ‘damsels in distress’ and his constant struggle to become a man his family could rely on.

The next stage of their grand plan is to unearth information guarded by one of the family’s enemies, Patricia (TV personality and their father’s former partner). Carly, Patricia’s mousy personal assistant is the key to getting the information. It’s up to Bran to convince her to cooperate by using any means necessary. But Bran could not bring himself to be deceitful, and I loved how honest he was with Carly from the beginning. She had her own troubles to contend with, and Bran immediately recognized her vulnerabilities. As a result, a deal was struck – Carly will help Bran, as he offers her protection against the thugs who threatened her life. Along the way, they discover there is more to their relationship. There’s an electrical spark, an undeniable attraction between the two that could no longer be ignored.

Bran and Carly were perfect together. Both insecure and hopelessly struggling against personal demons, their blossoming relationship led them on a path to discover not only love, but also the potential to build trust and confidence. The chemistry they shared was HOT. Brandon was just as sexy as he was sweet - a true and honest hero that I could not help but adore. Satisfaction was an intense roller-coaster ride with a cliffhanger of an ending that had me screaming for more. This is a great series that I highly recommend to lovers of steamy romantic suspense novels. Now my wait begins for the final Lawless saga, Revenge.

Shadow's review:

When Brandon Lawless decides to strike out on his own to help his siblings take down his parents’ killers, he decides he isn’t going to be as ruthless as his brother Drew. When he picks someone to help break down Patricia Cain, he is honest about it. He targets her assistant, Carly Hendricks.
Carly has her own reasons for participating in the effort to bring her boss to justice. Cain is blackmailing Carly to stay on as her assistant by threatening her younger sister.
As Brandon begins working to discover Cain’s secret, he learns the biggest one is that Cain needs Carly in ways no one knows. It is Carly who makes things happen behind the scenes and on-screen and who does most of the work for the hostess. But when Carly is almost killed, the stakes become higher-and the question of whether or not Carly or Cain was the target means the entire effort is in jeopardy and Brandon discovers he has lost his heart to the beautiful woman with whom he is working. Can he and Carly find a way to ferret out Cain’s secrets while staying safe-especially with Cain’s stepson hoping Carly will sign on with him for a show of her own?
Carly is delightful. Capable, caring, and conscientious, she looks toward the future regardless of the struggles of her past. Brandon, in turn, learns from her that there is more to life than the desire for vengeance-and that with help, the past can remain behind, instead of scarring the future.
Expect some hot sex and some interesting plot twists and turns-as well as a set up for the third book in the series.
As always, author Lexi Blake focuses on the fact that family is not necessarily about blood relatives, but it is what you make it. Carly’s conversation with Ian Taggert is illuminating-and sidesplitting funny. Overall, this is a jewel in the author’s crown of contemporary romances.

Divorce is never easy, but finding out you have been duped out of pretty much everything is even worse. It crushes your faith in others. Making the attention from another a bit unbelievable. For Carly Hendricks – attracting the attention of Bran Lawless seems to be too good to be true. Things are about to get even more interesting where Bran is concerned. A plan involving Bran and his siblings is dropped in Carly’s lap, and a decision will change how things in her life proceed from that point forward.

Working for someone that is so vindictive has certainly taken a toll on Carly over the years. Just when the end is in sight, Carly’s boss pulls her back in with a little blackmail. How can this even be happening? When Bran approaches Carly with his plan, she decides that teaming up with the Lawless sibling has to be better than the predicament she is currently experiencing. So – a plan is made. Now – the question is can they pull it off?

As Bran and Carly begin to spend more time together, sparks begin to fly. Carly is thrust into a life that is made more difficult by her ex-husband. Something Bran is determined to protect her from. However – Bran’s insecurities from his own tattered past rear their ugly head. Proving that a future with Carly might not be in the cards. With danger lurking all around the couple, both find themselves in harms way. How will it all play out? Will Carly become a casualty of this long and sordid mystery. Only time will tell if the Lawless siblings will received the vengeance that they have fought so hard for.

An attraction…..a plot for revenge…and two tattered souls that are pulled together…..all of it combines within the pages of Satisfaction. This is the second installment in the Lawless series. I have been (im)patiently waiting on Brandon’s story. So – I dove into this one feet first!!

Bran and Carly are quite the couple. First being introduced in a way that would make most people run for the hills. Their romance a spark amongst a sea of corruption. As the layers to the Lawless saga began to unfold, more of Bran and Carly’s hesitations began to come to light. Each character had to learn the value of trust and strength. A roller coaster ride will unfold throughout the story. Providing more clarity into the mysteries surrounding the death of Bran’s parents. Just like the last story….I loved each and every moment!! I have no clue what to expect in Revenge….but I can’t wait to discover all of the secrets!!

Lexi has done it again! Though there is no surprise from anyone who is a fan I’m sure. Satisfaction is the next book in the Lawless series about a group of brothers (and a sister), whose parents were murdered when they were young children. Today, Andrew (Drew) Lawless heads up his family consisting of Brandon (Bran), Riley, and Mia. Mia is also married to Case Taggart from the Masters and Mercenaries crew. Their objective is to seek justice for their parents deaths.
This book focuses on Bran. He decides that when big brother Drew is about to go undercover to use baddie Patricia Cain’s PA Carly, he’s stepping in to do the job without all of the deception and lies that nearly cost Riley his wife. He tells Carly the truth up front about why he and his brothers need her to help take down her boss.
Carly has her own issues, her ex husband used her, and Patricia is blackmailing her. But something happens that shakes her so badly, she decides to trust Bran. But he has some demons all of his own, and between trying to get justice, protect Carly and wrestle the demons, he may lose what’s right in front of him.
As usual, Lexi writes a page-turner that once picked up, you just can’t put it down, it’s just that phenominal! You know if Lexi’s name is on the cover, you’re in for a wild ride, especially if Ian Taggart is riding along, then you better stock up on the lemon goodies!

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with all things Lexi Blake, and ever since I first met the Lawless siblings in Master No, I’ve been eagerly anticipating their story. Suffice it to say, I was utterly hooked from book one. Ruthless sets off the series with Riley’s story. Mia’s story was a crossover in Dominance Never Dies. If you haven’t yet read the Masters and Mercenaries series by Lexi, you’re seriously missing out. But as always, I digress…
Satisfaction brings the story of the broken Lawless sibling, Brandon. We got a peak into his hidden demons in the first book; Bran has a hero complex a mile long, but you don’t know why. You know it stems from an event in his childhood which left him forever scarred, but you don’t know what. All we know is that if there’s a damsel in distress somewhere, whether stripper or hooker, odds are, Bran is right there trying to help her. He’s also the sibling that seems to hide the most scars from his past. When the Lawless siblings were torn apart and thrown into the system after their parents’ death, Bran took the brunt of the luck and barely aged out of it intact. Now he fights his demons with his fist and a barely repressed anger and a violence that quickly boils sits below the surface.
Watching the pain his brother’s now wife went through in their quest for revenge, he’ll be damned if he does that to another woman. So when the Lawless siblings set their sights on Patricia, the 3rd partner that they suspect was behind their parents murder, Bran breaks the plan and unveils the plan to Patricia’s assistant who they hope will be the person that helps them bring her down.
Carly Hendricks is coming off of a brutal divorce during which her husband took her for everything. A shy little mouse, her barely existing confidence took a real beating and she has a hard time understanding how a sexy man like Bran could hold even the slightest bit of interest in her. What begins then is a game of push and pull. Bran wants her, but he’s not good enough for her. Carly wants him, but doesn’t think he wants mousy little her.
As much as I loved the first book in this series, I’m a little bummed that this one paled in comparison. I think my main issue was the couple. I felt zero connection to either Carly or Bran. While I liked Bran as a character, I just had a hard time disconnecting his hero complex from his true feelings for Carly. She was just too much of the stereotype that he would typically try to rescue, so I suppose I had as hard a time as Carly really buying his love for her.
Carly was just too much of a mouse for me. While she does have a backbone that comes out later in the story and I could certainly sympathize with and understand her lack of self esteem, her constant questioning of her appeal wore me down. She was a heroine that unfortunately I’d forget about as soon as I read her. As a couple, they lacked a certain sizzle for me. Sure the sex was hot, but I just couldn’t click with their connection.
I found the suspense a bit boring at times too. The beginning and middle sort of dragged if I’m being honest. What DID keep my attention, as always, was Drew. And it didn’t hurt that his love interest is introduced here and boy does that set up already crackle with sexual tension. There’s a twist at the end that I never saw coming, which definitely added a great punch to the story. I can’t wait to see how everything concludes with Drew’s book next.
All in all, while it wasn’t my favorite in the series, the book at least helped tide me over until my next Lexi Blake fix.

Satisfaction by Lexi Blake brought me just that, satisfaction. I love Ms. Blake’s writing style and the way she is able to write a suspenseful read that is also filled with some angst, drama, and sexiness. Satisfaction is the second book in this series and I really do believe that it is beneficial for you to have read Ruthless first. I read Ruthless over again before reading Satisfaction and enjoyed it more the second time around.

Bran and Carly will grab your attention from the very start. I had to know what was going to happen next, and I wanted to know more about Bran especially. I hated that he thought he would screw it up and that his brothers acted that way as well. Bran has a good heart, reasons why he is the way he is and I just wanted everything to be so much better for him. Carly also had a reason to be defensive, hell the woman worked for the devil to put it nicely and had been burned more than once in the past.

With each book we get more answers but questions as well. I am fully invested into this series now and can’t wait to get the next book. That ending! I did not see that coming at all I think I opened and closed my mouth about ten times before I yelled WHAT! Satisfaction is one suspense filled read and one that I recommend.

As much as I loved the first book, this one kind of fell a bit short for me. I loved the plot of this series, it's different, it's revenge done for a family by a family and yes the couple is super hot. I just found this one hard to get into. I started and stopped this book many times and had to really force myself to get into it.

I found Bran rather odd, he has a lot of self doubt and self hatred, he always feels subpar to his family he is like a teenager and the whole always wanting to help the women he sleeps with. I just feel he had a lot of issues that seemed to pop up here and there. Personally it wasn't my cup of tea.

That being said, I am super eager to see how Drew and Shelby get it together and how much trouble they stir up together haha.

I couldn't finish this book. It started out okay but I wasn't into the whole plot thing.

Once again, Lexi Blake continues to deliver a sexy, tantalizing romantic suspense that will be sure to have readers begging for more of the Lawless siblings. In this second installment, Lexi picks off where she last left off in the last book and throws readers into another gauntlet of excitement, scandal, and new revelations as the Lawless siblings brings forth into light as to what really happened to their parent’s death. The hunt for revenge and justice is on and this time it is up to the elusive brother, Brandon Lawless to discover the truth and find the Satisfaction his and siblings are after for.

Brandon Lawless had one mission and objective only. Clear his father’s name. The target was marked and it is up to Brandon to persuade the enemy’s personal assistant to help him and his siblings get the justice and answers they need.

"Carly Fisher might deny it, but she wanted a man who would be a true partner, who would help her. She was alone and the man who convinced her she didn’t have to be would win her over. She would be loyal to that man, follow him wherever he went. He couldn’t be that man, but he could find a mutual satisfaction between them. He could help her. She could help him and then they would go their separate ways, better for having known each other.”

Carly Hendricks hates her job. Well, technically she hates that she works for a manipulative lady who will stop at nothing to be on top. She knows her boss is ruthless but she can’t quit because of her boss’s threat on her sister. And so when Brandon approaches Carly for help, she soon finds herself working with him and giving him the inside scoop. What was supposed to be an easy mission turns out to be a whole mess of complications especially when Brandon finds himself falling hard for Carly. Will Carly be able to help Brandon find the truth and justice that he is seeking for? Or will an unforeseen turn of events makes this revenge much harder for the Lawless siblings?

Satisfaction was a sizzling, fast paced romantic suspense that will be sure to satisfy any Lexi Blake fans as the writing was clean and engaging. With a multitude of action and unfolding of revelations, readers will be devouring this book in one sitting as Brandon Lawless will leave you hungrily satisfied with his strong sexual appeal. So if you are looking for a steamy romantic suspense that will take you on a wild ride then I would recommend you to read this series as I can’t wait to see what is in store for Drew.
