A really great read, unfortunately very sad too. But I feel like it was really interesting to read from a Lion's perspective in their daily life too.

Such pretty artwork and also that ending :'( did not expect such poignancy from a wordless children's storybook.
I ended up asking our children's collection development librarian to order all the books in this series because it was really, really good (and I wanted to read them all). I was not disappointed. The artwork is fantastic and the story amazing. If you like interesting picture books, check this one out.
